Ending of cross-border operation lasting for eight days all of a sudden and returning was not welcomed by media and provocative circles yelling with desire of war. Media Pashas acclaiming blood and terror during the operation have been investigating if USA has insisted on this sudden comeback and Turkish Armed Forces (TAF) has reached its goals totally. And also they keep on not reflecting the voices of the ones who ask for peace and political solution.

don’t want to evaluate the representatives of Kurds in parliament as a chance
for peace. In this context, Parliament voted the motion (507-19)
in favour of empowering the government to order the military to cross into Iraq over a
one-year period.
Pressures on pro-Kurdish media in Turkey Continue

The pro-Kurdish newspaper Gundem has been closed once again for 15 days. This is the second punishment in last 45 days. Almost all the news on Kurdish problem, some advertisements and articles which were published on the issues of 7 and 8 March were stated as the reasons of shutting down by the Istanbul Heavy Penal Court. The Court sentenced the Gundem according to the 3713 numbered Anti-Terror Law.
